Growing up, Wendy Teixeira learned the personable side of business. Her father owns and still operates a successful GMC automotive dealership, and she was raised around the social events, sales and marketing that he was involved in to promote his business. She went on to study business at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a minor in Marketing.

Loving What She Does
"If you love what you do everyday, you will never have to work for a living." That's one of Wendy's favorite quotes. Upon entering the real estate business several years ago, Wendy knew this would be her permanent career. Because selling real estate isn't just selling homes, it's selling a relationship, Wendy maintains communication with her clients long after the house sells. "I'm not just a Realtor, I'm a Real Estate Consultant. I talk with my clients year round about the market, home prices, new developments and what's happening in the local economy. I love getting calls and emails from my clients asking me what's new and exciting in real estate."

Happy Moments
Wendy and her husband, Gary, have been married 21 years. They love the outdoors. "We live on a ranch," Wendy explains. "I wanted my kids to grow up with an appreciation for hardwork and fresh air." On land or in the water, Wendy, Gary and their children, Cody, Brittany and Clay, take time to have some fun together. "We love getting away for a day at the lake, going for trail rides on our horses or visiting with friends together. Those are our happiest moments," she says.

With all that she does, what makes Wendy truly happy is working with area families as one of the most successful real estate professionals serving the Central Coast. As the current President of the Santa Maria Association of Realtors she maintains strong leadership skills with her colleagues and remains up to date on local and statewide news. Her rare Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation separates herself from her competitors. She believes that her love for learning only adds value to her real estate consultations. With her high sales performance, she ranks in the top 1% nationwide with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. She also knows that the purchase of a home is the biggest financial investment many will make in their lifetime. She wants them empowered with knowledge to make the right decision for themselves and their family.
